Take this leisurely guided stroll round old Baytown and learn all about the village’s smuggling past.

Packed full of historical facts, the tour will blend smuggler’s tales with visits to authenticated smuggling locations.  Battles between Revenue men and smugglers will be remembered and even the Press Gang will make an appearance. The tour is the perfect way to be introduced to the history of Baytown in the 18th century and will give you hours of conversation topics by the pub fireside at night.

This personal tour can be arranged at anytime and any day to suit your requirements. Cost is £6 per person.There is no minimum group size but the minimum charge is £40.

Beer Tasting Special

If you want to add in a beer tasting and learn the background to Baytown Beers and Spirits then this added extra is for you.

Following the smugglers’ tour we will retire to a local hostelry or cafe and then hear all about and taste the seven Baytown craft bottled ales. Everyone gets to take away a bottle of their favourite Baytown drink.

One hour tour and beer tasting including free bottle of beer is £10 per person. Minimum charge is £70.
